Banana peppers have quickly become a staple in my garden. The pickled green peppers add a lovely tang to sandwiches, salads and more. This is a new variety this year--just to experiment with a new nursery. Pinetree states:
This is a Hungarian Heirloom. Produces abundant 6” long Hungarian-type peppers, sometimes over 20 per plant. The Sweet Banana Pepper has an attractive yellow color eventually turning crimson. The flavor is sweet and slightly spicy.
First purchased in November 2025 for the 2026 growing season.
